About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. In the shoes department, you build customer relationships and apply product knowledge to support a positive shopping experience. You assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on products; process point-of-sale transactions; and help maintain a clean, visually appealing department and stock room. The role includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Von Maur describes its culture as family-owned and focused on supporting and valuing employees. Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow business.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Share product knowledge and information about store services to enhance the customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter key account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
