About The Position

As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and help shape its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. In this action-packed department, you make a lasting impression on customers’ shopping experiences by building relationships and developing brand knowledge to meet customers’ needs. You assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and try-ons while helping maintain an appealing and clean department and shoe stock room. The role requires availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
• Develop customer relationships to grow business.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Use product knowledge and knowledge of store services to create a strong customer experience.
• Ring point-of-sale transactions and enter key account information.
• Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
