About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you represent the company and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You create a positive shopping experience by building customer relationships, sharing product knowledge, and helping customers find and try on shoes. The role also includes meeting individual sales and account goals, processing point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining the department and shoe stock room.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow sales.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Share product knowledge and information about store services to enhance the customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter key account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Keep the department and shoe stock room clean and visually appealing.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
