About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and help shape its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. In this fast-paced department, you make a lasting impression on customers by building relationships and using product and brand knowledge to meet their needs. You will assist with shoe selection and fitting, complete sales transactions, work toward sales goals, and help maintain the department and stock room. Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be scheduled.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow business.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Share product knowledge and information about store services to improve the customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Keep the department and shoe stock room clean and visually appealing.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
