About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You help make customers’ shopping experiences memorable by building relationships and developing product knowledge to meet their needs. The role includes assisting customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes, supporting sales goals, processing transactions, and maintaining the department and shoe stock room. Day, evening, and weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow business.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Share product knowledge and information about store services to create a positive customer experience.
- Process point-of-sale transactions and enter account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing, clean department and shoe stock room.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
