About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate, you represent Von Maur and contribute to its reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. In this action-packed department, you create a lasting impression on customers’ shopping experiences by building relationships and developing brand knowledge to meet customer needs. The expected base wage is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with commission and overtime eligibility. Successful candidates’ wages are determined based on their individual qualifications. Commission may vary by department, and pay ranges may differ by location.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Develop customer relationships to grow sales.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Use product knowledge and explain store services to create a strong customer experience.
- Process POS transactions and enter account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing, clean department and shoe stock room.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
