SALES ASSOCIATE - SHOES
About The Position
As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you represent the company and contribute to its reputation for customer service. You help create a positive shopping experience by building customer relationships, developing product knowledge, and assisting customers with their shoe purchases. The role includes sales goals, POS transactions, shoe fitting assistance, and maintaining the department and stock room. The expected base wage is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with commission and overtime eligibility; commission may vary by department, and pay is determined based on individual qualifications and location.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer.
- Build customer relationships to grow business.
- Achieve individual sales and account goals.
- Use product knowledge and knowledge of store services to support the customer experience.
- Process POS transactions and enter key account information.
- Assist customers with shoe sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
