About The Position

The Sales Associate creates personalized shopping experiences that educate customers about the HOKA brand, products, and technologies. The role shares product knowledge, answers customer questions accurately, and delivers excellent service while promoting an optimistic, energetic image of the store and brand. The Sales Associate also supports store operations by assisting management with administrative tasks, operating the cash register, handling money accurately, checking inventory, and stocking and merchandising products to brand standards. Responsibilities include keeping back-stock and the employee break area clean and organized, following safety practices and theft-response policies, and communicating promptly with management about lateness or absences. This position requires schedule flexibility to meet business needs. The posted target salary for new hires at the specific store location is $17.00; actual pay depends on location and job-related skills, experience, and education or training.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey the HOKA and Deckers Brands Vision, Mission, and Values to team members and customers.
Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and hours to meet the needs of the business.
Valid state or federal identification.

Nice To Haves

Two years of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create personalized shopping experiences and educate customers about HOKA products and technologies.
Provide accurate answers to customer questions and deliver service in accordance with the HOKA Expert Service Program.
Maintain current product knowledge and share it in customer interactions.
Maintain an optimistic and energetic attitude with customers and team members and promote the store and brand image.
Assist management with administrative tasks.
Operate the cash register and handle money accurately.
Check inventory daily and stock and merchandise products according to brand standards.
Keep back-stock and the employee break area clean and organized, including daily vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting.
Practice safety consciousness and respond to theft according to company policies.
Report to work on time and notify the Store Manager or Manager on Duty in advance if late or absent.
Communicate and cooperate with customers, teammates, management, and corporate stakeholders to help achieve team goals.
