About The Position

This role is for a Sales Associate at Mathis Home. The position offers a flexible schedule and a fun work environment. The pay structure includes an hourly rate during training, followed by a combination of hourly pay and commission, and eventually moving to straight commission after 90 days. There is no salary cap. Requirements

• Ability to lift merchandise of 40lbs to move furniture as part of the selling process.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to listen and respond to customer’s needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Positive attitude when working with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs rarely, and/or up to 10 lbs occasionally to move objects.

• Sales experience preferred, not required.
