About The Position

The Sales Associate at Cosmoprof focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers and serving as an advisor throughout their beauty journey. The role supports customers across hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Cosmoprof provides product knowledge and training, while the associate contributes passion and personality. The position also involves maintaining a professional store environment, completing transactions, supporting promotional activities, and communicating inventory issues. A range of working schedules and hours is available to suit different needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply knowledge gained from product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Ability to read and explain product labels.
• Ability to follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to perform physical activities that include long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching; and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.
• Use product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
