About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate is employed by Noor Staffing Group and represents Hickory Farms at seasonal retail locations. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a positive shopping experience through proactive customer engagement, product knowledge, and support of individual and team sales goals. Associates work independently while maintaining professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high standard of service. The position is based in a high-traffic retail mall environment, with increased activity during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may encounter varying temperatures, weather conditions, and occasional hazards. Local travel to other store locations may be required when additional Sales Associates are needed. Seasonal team members receive a 30% discount on Hickory Farms products. This seasonal role is not eligible for medical or other company-sponsored benefits unless required by law.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to customer concerns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and perform tasks involving walking, reaching, grasping, lifting, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to exert up to 42 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–35 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities
- Greet and approach every customer, offering personalized assistance and recommendations.
- Actively engage customers and showcase products to drive sales.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting team objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions and encourage purchases.
- Restock and organize merchandise as directed to maintain an attractive store environment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and courteously, and provide service that supports customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Follow company cash-handling policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
- Follow safety protocols and report injuries, hazards, and incidents to the Seasonal Store Manager immediately.
- Maintain energy and enthusiasm and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow dress-code standards and wear the provided apron while on duty.
- Complete assigned training courses and materials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Seasonal Store Manager.
