About The Position

GNC is hiring a part-time hourly Sales Associate to help customers find products suited to their needs and goals while representing the company’s “Live Well” philosophy. The role focuses on creating a welcoming shopping experience, providing product advice and recommendations, and contributing to store sales and productivity goals.

When not assisting customers, the Sales Associate restocks products, maintains visual merchandising, fulfills online orders, and performs cleaning duties. The role also supports store management with opening, closing, and daily store operations, including cash handling, inventory counts, deposits, and maintaining the store’s appearance. Associates are expected to work varied hours and days to meet store needs, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand-to-finger motions.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull up to 20 pounds and climb ladders.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees.
• Ability to use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights or mornings, weekends, and major U.S. holidays when the store is open.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers and create a welcoming environment.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products using product knowledge.
• Work toward achieving and exceeding store and personal sales and productivity goals.
• Fulfill online orders accurately and promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
• Learn product features, advantages, and benefits, and stay informed about nutritional, wellness, and fitness news.
• Restock products, maintain visual merchandising, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support store management with opening, closing, and operating the store.
• Handle cash, inventory counts, and deposits, and help maintain the store’s appearance.
