About The Position

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is hiring part-time Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSCs) for its Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. The Sales Associate serves customers, supports store sales and operations, and helps create a welcoming shopping experience. The position is permanent and part-time, based at Store #4611 in Royersford, with possible assignments to other stores in the county or district as operational needs require. Telework is not available.

Employees must work at least 13 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to 32 hours per week depending on availability and store needs. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
• Be able to perform the essential job functions, including lifting products weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Pass a background investigation.
• A felony conviction within the last ten years before the prospective employment date is disqualifying under section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code; other criminal convictions are reviewed case by case.
• Work a minimum of 13 hours per week and be available for rotating weekday and weekend shifts, including daytime and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and help shoppers find products.
• Process sales transactions using a computerized cash register.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
• Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders and load them into vehicles.
• Lift products weighing 30 to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds, including overhead or from a squatting position.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Use scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers legally permitted to buy it.
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented store environment.
