About The Position

The Sales Associate focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers and advising them on products across hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Cosmoprof provides product knowledge and training, while the associate brings passion and personality to customer interactions. The role includes building customer relationships, supporting sales and promotions, maintaining the store environment, and demonstrating Cosmoprof’s culture values. A range of work schedules and hours is available to suit different needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Able to read and explain product labels.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about the Loyalty program and enroll them.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.
• Use product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
