About The Position

The Sales Associate at Cosmoprof focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience and advising customers throughout their beauty journey, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Cosmoprof provides product knowledge and training, while the associate contributes passion and personality. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Able to apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Able to read and explain product labels.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• The role involves prolonged standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.
• Use product knowledge gained through training to support customer service.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
