About The Position

The Sales Associate creates a memorable shopping experience for customers by advising them on hair color, cosmetics, skin care, nails, and other beauty products. Cosmoprof provides product education and training to support customer service. The role also involves maintaining a professional store environment, supporting promotions, and communicating inventory issues. Working schedules and hours vary to accommodate different needs and business scheduling requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Able to read and explain product labels.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about the Loyalty program and enroll them in it.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.
• Apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Follow directions and perform other duties assigned by the Manager.
