About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a high standard of customer service and helps ensure a pleasant shopping experience. The associate demonstrates products, maintains product knowledge through ongoing training, replenishes and restocks merchandise, maintains pricing and signage, and assists with seasonal floor moves. They keep the work area clean, follow company policies and procedures, and help customers make purchasing decisions by evaluating their needs and recommending products. The associate also promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The position works under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment and recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs, recommend products, and promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
