About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make informed buying decisions. The associate works under general supervision and uses established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly during the shift and meet the listed physical demands, including moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, prompt customer service and contribute to a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
Demonstrate products and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
Replenish and restock merchandise, maintain pricing and signage, and assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and recommending products.
Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
