About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other assigned responsibilities. The role is expected to be carried out professionally, courteously, reliably, and with a results-oriented approach. Associates help customers find appropriate products, maintain store standards and a neat sales environment, support operational compliance and loss prevention, and keep management informed of important developments. The standard work week is a minimum of 35 hours and a maximum of 40 hours.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision and take charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Proven ability to build and work as part of a team, handle responsibility, and understand the needs of the street lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships by providing professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service and knowledgeable product assistance.
Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend appropriate merchandise while maintaining company standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies; participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring store issues related to loss or inconsistencies and help achieve shrink goals at or below company plan.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support employee training in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting against shoplifting and internal theft and following loss prevention policies and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money received during assigned work, and work with management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
