About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience. The role involves offering personalized service and styling advice, helping customers find products, and contributing to store sales goals. Associates support merchandise presentation and store operations, collaborate with teammates, and respond to customer needs in a friendly, solution-oriented way.

The position requires extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, and moving around the store. Duties may also involve hanging and folding merchandise, climbing ladders, operating POS registers and company mobile devices, occasionally using a trash compactor or hand truck, and lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, including team lifting when needed. The role may include additional responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers through personalized service and styling advice.
• Help customers find products and provide a seamless, enjoyable shopping experience while contributing to sales goals.
• Develop knowledge of J.Jill merchandise to offer guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support store success.
