About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Sales Associate to represent the brand and help create a relaxed, welcoming shopping destination. The role involves greeting guests, helping them find merchandise suited to their needs, sharing product knowledge and styling recommendations, and informing them about brand marketing programs and events. Sales Associates participate in store meetings and work toward sales and service goals set by store management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A proactive, get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling; occasional ladder climbing; and standing for up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn and share current product knowledge, offer prompt recommendations and professional service, and enhance the shopping experience with fit, fashion, wardrobing, and add-on suggestions.
• Represent the brand’s direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
