About The Position

Big Daddy's is seeking an energetic, dependable Sales Associate to assist customers, process transactions, merchandise the sales floor, and contribute to a positive retail experience. The role requires strong customer service, the ability to learn product knowledge quickly, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Extremely personable, positive, and approachable.
Fantastic customer service skills.
Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
Comfort standing for long periods and ability to lift 50 pounds, with or without accommodations.
Comfort with shift scheduling and working weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Wine and spirits experience in a retail sales environment is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store.
Offer help and provide direct assistance to customers.
Provide in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, and overall value.
Answer customer questions and concerns.
Attend to each customer's unique shopping needs.
Cross-sell and recommend beneficial product add-ons.
Upsell when appropriate and promote current sales, promotions, and coupon deals.
Explain store-member benefits and encourage customers to sign up.
Process purchases, returns, and exchanges.
Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
Report unusual matters or major incidents to management.
Organize backstock and perform inventory counts.
Process newly received shipments.
Organize and replenish front stock and help merchandise the store.
Maintain a clean and tidy work and retail space.
Be enthusiastic and informative about products.
Help create a positive shopping environment.
Work as a team to achieve sales goals.
