About The Position

The Temp Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate adheres to operational, merchandise, safety, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also includes processing customer transactions and merchandise, supporting merchandising and store recovery, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and contributing to a positive store culture.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers while modeling established customer experience practices.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
