About The Position

The Seasonal Temp Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer-experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, loss-prevention, labor, and safety standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Duties may include assisting with purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising merchandise, and maintaining store recovery and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Model customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and participate in maintaining the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
