The Sales Associate provides welcoming customer service and supports sales, client relationships, store operations, events, and loss prevention. The role handles point-of-sale transactions, helps maintain displays and merchandise flow, and communicates business feedback and daily recaps to management. This is a full-time position in Woodbury with an hourly rate of $24, determined by experience, education, skills, and location.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
A can-do attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
Availability and willingness to work during peak business periods, including weekends and holidays.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge and experience with point-of-sale and inventory management systems, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Comfort working in a team environment.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing 20 pounds or more from time to time.

Experience in women's upper contemporary, multi-label, or luxury designer retail.

Responsibilities

Maximize sales and provide friendly, welcoming customer service.
Communicate with customers to determine their needs.
Build client relationships and maintain an updated client book.
Drive sales through consignments and partnerships with interior designers and wardrobe stylists.
Handle point-of-sale transactions, including sales, exchanges, refunds, gift cards, and gift wrap.
Participate in store operations, including maintaining displays, assisting with stock transfers, and receiving new merchandise.
Participate in store events.
Encourage customers to sign up for Jenni Kayne Rewards and engage with the brand on social media.
Share feedback with management and write daily business recaps.
Secure company assets through loss prevention in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
