About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. The associate is knowledgeable about products across store departments, promotes sales and promotions, and follows company policies, procedures, and visual standards. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate creates a distinctive customer experience to acquire and retain customers. The role also supports daily store operations and helps protect company assets and financial information.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and serving multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in applicable manuals and communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance in the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend staff meetings and store tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks.
