About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of the store’s product areas and departments, promotion of sales and merchandise, and adherence to policies, procedures, and visual standards. The associate represents the organization and brand by creating a distinctive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The position supports daily store operations, works toward sales goals, and communicates merchandise and operational concerns to store management. It has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks precisely.
Team player with a passion for outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and helping multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to develop selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, following product knowledge guidance.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
