About The Position

A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by providing each customer with a genuine and unique experience. The role engages customers in personalized conversations, offers product suggestions, uses technology to complete transactions and locate or order merchandise, and helps maintain a welcoming selling environment. The Sales Associate also works collaboratively with peers, shares product knowledge and trends, supports store initiatives, and communicates customer and employee feedback to Store Leadership. The position supports shipment and omni order fulfillment processes, helps maintain sales-floor stock, and upholds Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Experience being a team player.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Interest in or enthusiasm for the Anthropologie brand.

Responsibilities

Initiate genuine, personalized conversations so customers feel welcome, heard, and valued.
Support the sales-floor environment by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product suggestions.
Use technology to complete transactions, find sizes and colors, and place orders for items unavailable in the store.
Build productive relationships with peers, ask for support when needed, and help others.
Participate in learning and sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities.
Contribute to positive team morale by participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders through the SPARKED journal.
Share insights and feedback about the customer and employee experience with Store Leadership.
Understand how service and selling contribute to the store’s business on every shift.
Support shipment processes to learn about new and restocked products.
Contribute to omni order fulfillment while maintaining sales-floor stock levels.
Maintain Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards and stay current on merchandising updates.
