About The Position

Brilliant Earth is hiring a Jewelry Consultant to provide an exceptional experience for customers shopping for luxury jewelry. The role guides customers through the sales process across in-person and virtual appointments, phone, and live chat, helping them find suitable products while creating personalized experiences. Consultants work toward individual sales targets in a fast-paced environment and support customers throughout their purchase journey, including after-sale appointments. This is an in-person role at the Birmingham, Michigan location with a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. The targeted compensation budget is $20–$22 per hour, subject to change at the company’s discretion.

Responsibilities

Use sales strategies and product knowledge to guide customers through purchasing decisions in appointments and walk-in consultations.
Manage incoming sales leads through email, live chat, and phone while working toward individual revenue targets and providing a luxury customer experience.
Greet, check in, and assist customers throughout the purchasing process.
Conduct post-sale appointments for pickups, exchanges, resizing, and other inquiries.
Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer questions before their visits.
Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews and work with leaders to improve customer experience and sales performance.
Enforce waiting-room policies to maintain a safe and pleasant experience and help ensure product security.
Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area.
Use the ERP system to manage tasks and communicate across teams.
Represent the brand and share its mission to create a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
