About The Position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate works with customers online, by phone, and in person to guide them through vehicle purchases in AutoNation’s no-haggle sales environment. The role involves responding promptly to leads, answering questions, sharing information, and helping customers move from phone or internet contact to an in-store experience.

Associates help customers select vehicles, discuss terms and payment options that fit their needs and budgets, and close sales. They provide an exceptional experience before and after purchase, follow up to confirm customer satisfaction, and help connect customers with the Service department to support vehicle ownership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A desire to help people and exceed expectations.
• Sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities
