About The Position

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor creates a memorable shopping experience for customers and helps guide them through their beauty needs, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Sally Beauty provides product knowledge and training; the role calls for passion, personality, and a commitment to customer service. The position also supports sales promotions, store presentation, loyalty program enrollment, accurate transactions, and a professional store environment. A range of working schedules and hours is available.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• The position involves long periods of standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities, and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• The position involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
