About The Position
SPIROL is a global manufacturer seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer/Specialist to join their team in Danielson, Connecticut. This role is 100% on-site. The position involves using technical aptitude and solution selling skills to identify and engage with new customers, create strategies to penetrate target companies with specific product groups, develop customer advocates, build relationships, and overcome barriers to demonstrate the benefits of doing business with SPIROL.
Requirements
- Engineering or Business/Marketing degree with strong technical aptitude
- 5-7 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in solution sales of direct materials or products into engineered assemblies and applications
- Ability and desire to travel based on business needs and sales objectives
Responsibilities
- Use strong technical aptitude and solution selling skills to identify and engage with new customers
- Create and execute strategies to penetrate target companies with specific product groups
- Develop SPIROL advocates and build meaningful relationships with them
- Tactfully overcome barriers to success with tenacity, and demonstrate to the customer the benefits of doing business with SPIROL
