About The Position

The Mobility Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team and serves as a brand ambassador. The role facilitates a fast, easy, and valued rental car experience for Lyft and/or Uber drivers. The wage is $19.00 per hour. The specialist supports rental operations and customer service by helping customers make reservations, processing rentals, preparing clean and safe vehicles, and responding to post-rental questions about billing and rental matters. The role also includes answering phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, extensions, and roadside assistance; communicating program procedures; and seeking opportunities to generate revenue. The position involves preparing vehicles for pickup, including checking for damage, cleaning interiors and exteriors, refueling, and checking fluid levels. It requires working in a fast-paced environment, including outdoors in all weather conditions, and being able to stand for long periods. Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime may be required.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of customer service resolution practices and excellent communication techniques.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Help customers create rental reservations and process rentals.
Provide customers with clean and safe vehicles and prepare vehicles for pickup.
Check vehicles for damage; clean interior areas such as windows, door jams, and trunks; vacuum and wash vehicles; fill gasoline tanks; and check fluid levels.
Assist customers with post-rental questions involving rentals and billing.
Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental extensions, and roadside assistance.
Communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and its procedures effectively.
Seek business opportunities after customer inquiries and address customer objections to maximize revenue.
Provide helpful customer service that enhances the rental experience.
Assist with special administrative projects when needed.
Work collaboratively as part of a team.
