About The Position

The Mobility Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team and serves as a brand ambassador, facilitating a fast, easy, and valued rental car experience for Lyft and/or Uber drivers. The role supports rental operations and customer service, including reservations, rental processing, vehicle preparation, and post-rental billing inquiries. The position pays $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of customer service resolution practices and excellent communication techniques.
• Sales management/coaching ability.
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and proficiently in English.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient operations to provide customers with a high-quality rental car experience.
• Help customers create rental car reservations, process rentals, and receive clean and safe vehicles.
• Assist customers with post-rental questions involving rentals and billing.
• Provide helpful customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental extensions, roadside assistance, and related topics.
• Communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and procedures effectively.
• Seek revenue opportunities by soliciting business after customer inquiries and addressing customer objections.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pickup by checking for damage; cleaning interiors and exteriors; filling gasoline tanks; and checking fluid levels.
• Assist with special administrative projects as needed.
