About The Position

The Mobility Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team and serves as a brand ambassador, facilitating a fast, easy, and valued rental car experience for Lyft and/or Uber drivers. The role supports rental operations and customer service, including reservations, rental processing, vehicle preparation, post-rental inquiries, and communicating program procedures. The position pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks.

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of customer service resolution practices and excellent communication techniques.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime as required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to communicate clearly and proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operations to provide customers with a high-quality rental car experience.
• Help customers create rental reservations, process rentals, and provide clean and safe vehicles.
• Assist customers with post-rental inquiries concerning rentals and billing.
• Provide helpful customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, extensions, and roadside assistance.
• Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by soliciting business and addressing customer objections.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pickup by checking for damage, cleaning interiors and exteriors, filling gasoline tanks, and checking fluid levels.
• Assist with special administrative projects when needed.
