About The Position

The Sales and Service Associate welcomes new members and helps them begin their fitness journey. The role builds trust-based relationships by listening to members’ goals, understanding their needs, and recommending personalized solutions to support their fitness success. Associates combine a passion for fitness with strong interpersonal skills to create a positive, motivating, and results-driven member experience.

Associates provide friendly check-in and onboarding, connect members with fitness offerings and appropriate resources, answer questions, address concerns, and help maintain a clean, well-maintained, and safe gym. At locations with a Kids’ Club, associates may also be assigned childcare and supervision duties. The role may require minimum travel for training or lead generation and, in California locations with a Kids’ Club, confirmed and maintained TrustLine registration before working in the Kids’ Club when children are present.

This is a full-time position with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Team members are eligible to participate in fitness sales and membership sales commission plans.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or fitness sales.
• Obtain CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment.
• Demonstrate authenticity, sincerity, open-mindedness, and integrity.

• For California locations with a Kids’ Club, successfully provide fingerprints, register with TrustLine, and provide confirmation of registration; maintain TrustLine registration throughout employment to work in the Kids’ Club when children are present.
• Be available full-time with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• 12 months of experience working in retail and fitness sales.
• 6–12 months of childcare experience for locations with a Kids’ Club.

Responsibilities

• Build first-name relationships with members, answer questions, resolve concerns, and connect members and guests with appropriate resources.
• Help keep the gym clean, well-maintained, and safe for members and guests.
• Deliver a welcoming, informative, inclusive sales and service experience and inspire members and guests to take appropriate next steps toward their fitness goals.
• Support new-member onboarding by greeting and checking in members, responding promptly to their needs, and connecting them to fitness offerings.
• At locations with a Kids’ Club, care for and supervise children as assigned; control entry and exit; manage check-in and check-out; notify or page parents when needed; administer first aid; and tidy, clean, and disinfect the space.
• At locations with a Kids’ Club, assist children who need a diaper change or restroom help and communicate discipline concerns to parents.
• Travel as needed for training purposes and lead generation.
