About The Position

The Sales and Service Associate welcomes new members and guides them through the beginning of their fitness journey. The role builds trust-based relationships by listening to members’ goals, understanding their needs, and recommending personalized solutions to support their fitness success. It combines a passion for fitness and strong interpersonal skills to create a positive, motivating, results-driven member experience.

The associate provides a friendly first point of contact, supports new-member onboarding, answers questions, resolves concerns, and connects members and guests with appropriate resources. The role also helps maintain a clean, well-maintained, and safe gym environment. Full-time availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required. Minimum travel may be required for training and lead generation.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or fitness sales.
• Obtain CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment.
• Demonstrate authenticity, sincerity, open-mindedness, and integrity.
• Be self-motivated, passionate about helping others, and interested in learning and personal growth.
• Strive to meet or exceed goals while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop first-name relationships with members; answer questions, resolve concerns, and connect members and guests with appropriate resources.
• Help keep the gym clean, well-maintained, and safe for members and guests.
• Deliver a welcoming, informative, inclusive sales and service experience that helps guests and members take appropriate next steps toward their fitness goals.
• Support new-member onboarding and help members connect with the club’s fitness offerings through friendly greetings, check-ins, and prompt attention to their needs.
• Participate in applicable Fitness Sales and Membership Sales Commission Plans.
