About The Position

The Sales Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day execution of CRM hygiene, data integrity, and serves as a backup to frontline operational support for the Sales organization. This role assumes ownership of CRM cleanliness and operational enforcement, allowing the Sales Operations Manager to focus on broader tooling, cross-functional initiatives, and project leadership. This role is highly operational and execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on data quality, process adherence, issue resolution, and responsiveness to Sales needs.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or CRM-focused analyst roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience working in Salesforce in a Sales environment.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working in data-heavy workflows.
  • Experience supporting frontline Sales teams in a help-desk or enablement capacity.
  • Comfortable following defined processes with consistency and discipline.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Own CRM data quality standards across all Sales-facing objects.
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly hygiene routines to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Enforce expectations for: Required fields and field completeness, Opportunity stage progression and close-date accuracy, Account and hierarchy usage, Activity logging and basic usage standards.
  • Identify, triage, and remediate: Duplicate records, Orphaned accounts, contacts, and opportunities, Stale or inactive pipeline, Incomplete, conflicting, or inconsistent data entries.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Sales Operations Manager to reinforce accountability for CRM usage and compliance.
  • Serve as the operational owner for CRM cleanliness, escalating systemic issues or automation gaps to the Sales Operations Manager and IT as needed.
  • Maintain and distribute standard Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide operational visibility (non-analytics, non‑predictive).
  • Provide tier ‑ 1 and tier ‑ 2 support for Sales in partnership with the Sales Operations Manager.
  • Act as a first point of contact for Sales-related operational questions and issues, particularly during U.S. off-hours.
  • Support Salesforce and tool usage questions including: Access issues, Routing errors, Workflow confusion, Basic reporting requests.
  • Triage incoming issues and determine whether they can be resolved operationally or require escalation.
  • Document issues clearly and escalate to the Sales Operations Manager or IT with strong business context.
  • Maintain FAQs, internal documentation, and repeatable guidance to reduce recurring help desk volume.
  • Follow established escalation and support processes when technical intervention is required.
  • Support execution of Sales Operations processes such as: Pipeline reviews, Deal hygiene checks, Territory or account updates, Tool and process rollouts.
  • Execute defined operational playbooks and recurring processes with consistency.
  • Assist the Sales Operations Manager in operational projects by owning defined workstreams or execution tasks.
  • Monitor adherence to Sales processes and surface gaps or breakdowns proactively.
  • Provide feedback from frontline execution that informs process improvement and tooling decisions.
