About The Position

The Sales Ambassador helps customers discover products and make healthy choices by sharing product knowledge and providing an engaging customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment. The role proactively engages customers while sampling products, prepares and serves food, and encourages customers to try products to achieve sales goals. The position coordinates sampling events from setup and takedown through communication, supply and inventory management, event recap preparation, and equipment maintenance. It follows food safety guidelines and completes assigned online training. The job description states that duties may be amended to meet business and organizational needs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
High energy and a passion for Sprouts products.
Enjoy customer engagement.
Ability to suggestively sell products.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to follow cooking directions.
Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and the support office.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage customers while sampling products.
Prepare and serve food using equipment such as an induction cooktop, toaster oven, and blender, following provided cooking directions.
Cut and sample produce and grocery products.
Achieve sales goals by sharing products with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
Coordinate event setup and takedown.
Communicate upcoming events in department manager meetings.
Manage sample supplies and sample product inventory.
Prepare event recaps via SharePoint.
Maintain program-specific equipment.
Adhere to strict food safety guidelines.
Complete assigned online training to build product knowledge.
