Sales Ambassador
About The Position
The Sales Ambassador helps customers discover products and make healthy choices by engaging them during product sampling and delivering an extraordinary customer service experience in a fast-paced, friendly retail environment. The role prepares and serves food according to provided cooking directions, cuts and samples produce and grocery products, and encourages customers to try products to help achieve sales goals. The position coordinates sampling events from setup through takedown, communicates upcoming events in department manager meetings, manages sample supplies and inventory, prepares event recaps via SharePoint, and maintains program-specific equipment. The Sales Ambassador follows strict food safety guidelines and completes assigned online training. The role requires standing at the Tasting Station for up to eight hours.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- High energy and passion for Sprouts products.
- Enjoy customer engagement.
- Ability to suggestively sell products.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to follow cooking directions.
- Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to eight hours.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and the support office.

Responsibilities
- Proactively engage customers while sampling products.
- Prepare and serve food using equipment such as an induction cooktop, toaster oven, and blender, following specific cooking directions.
- Cut and sample produce and grocery products.
- Achieve sales goals by sharing products with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
- Coordinate event setup and takedown.
- Communicate upcoming events in department manager meetings.
- Manage sample supplies and sample product inventory.
- Prepare event recaps via SharePoint.
- Maintain program-specific equipment.
- Adhere to strict food safety guidelines.
- Complete assigned online training to build product knowledge.
