About The Position

The Sales Ambassador helps customers discover products and make healthy choices by engaging with them, sharing product knowledge, and delivering customer service in a fast-paced, friendly retail environment. The role involves preparing and serving food samples, coordinating sampling events, and encouraging customers to try products. Sales Ambassadors follow food safety guidelines, maintain event equipment and supplies, and complete online training.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have high energy and a passion for Sprouts products.
Thrive on customer engagement.
Be able to suggestively sell products.
Be willing to learn and grow.
Be able to follow cooking directions.
Be able to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
Have the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and the support office.
Have strong organizational skills.
Have a results-oriented mindset.
Have problem-solving skills.
Have intermediate-level computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with customer service, sales, marketing, or event planning.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage customers while sampling products.
Prepare and serve food using equipment such as an induction cooktop, toaster oven, or blender, following provided cooking directions.
Cut and sample produce and grocery products.
Achieve sales goals by sharing products with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
Coordinate event activities, including setup and takedown.
Communicate upcoming events in department manager meetings.
Manage sample supplies and sample product inventory.
Prepare event recaps via SharePoint.
Maintain program-specific equipment.
Adhere to strict food safety guidelines.
Complete assigned online trainings to build product knowledge.
