The objective of this role is to support our MBSK Pipe sales and production team through accurate order entry, product tracking, and raw material purchase order management. The Sales Administrator plays a vital part in ensuring seamless coordination throughout the pipe team helping drive efficiency and operational excellence. Reports directly to Sales Manager, Pipe.

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Business Administration is an asset
Administrative experience would be considered an asset
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Enterprise systems.
Excellent customer service, organization, interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the desire to seek solutions
High level of time management and task prioritization skills
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, will be required.

Responsibilities

Part of the pipe team, overseeing sales administration and material purchasing for the Manitoba and Saskatchewan market.
Prepare purchase orders in SAP based on sales and production requirements.
Monitor payments to vendors and purchase order status.
Advise sales and production team of procurement process, and at regular intervals of order status and anticipated delivery dates.
Coordinate with vendors to meet pricing and delivery requirements.
Maintain a broad knowledge of the product lines and individual functions to assist customers as needed.
Act as inside support, assist with inquiries for a variety of internal contacts such as sales and estimating, production, shipping, and finance staff.
Assist sales team with project entry, and data input.
Provide coverage for other areas and duties. This may include responding to, or forwarding incoming calls, receiving, entering and confirming customer orders, scheduling deliveries.
Assist with other general administration duties and ad hoc reports.
