Requirements

• Bachelor's (B.A.) degree, preferably in a mental health/social service related field
• Familiar with life safety standards and/or knowledge of licensing (DMHAS, DDD, DCF) regulations a plus
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Conducting facility, vehicle and medication inspections
• Assisting programs in preparing for licensing and accreditation site reviews
• Monitoring plans of correction
• Providing consultation to program leadership regarding safety standards and best practices
• Helping to promote safety and reduce risk exposure by coordinating with programs to ensure safety systems are in continuous working order and are up to date with internal and external requirements
• Contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and inspection tools
• Identifying risk management trends
• Completing special projects, as assigned
