About The Position

IES Residential is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support our West Coast operations. This role is critical in promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of OSHA regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both management and field teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the safety field
• Strong understanding of current OSHA safety regulations and policies
• OSHA 500 Certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the construction industry
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• First Aid/CPR Instructor certification
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety inspections on active job sites
• Partner with IES Residential management to promote and strengthen a safety-first culture
• Conduct safety training for employees
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Investigate workplace injuries and vehicle accidents
• Participate in and support OSHA site inspections
• Communicate safety policies and procedures to management and field employees
