About The Position

The Safety and Security Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Safety & Security Department, providing operational leadership across security, safety, emergency response, and parking functions. This role serves as the day-to-day lead for assigned department activities, helping ensure services are delivered consistently, professionally, and safely while supporting a positive experience for members, guests, and employees. Working closely with the Safety & Security Manager, contracted security personnel, and cross-functional Club teams, the Supervisor assists with incident response, emergency preparedness, safety initiatives, vendor oversight, and parking operations while helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment throughout the Club.

Requirements

  • Supervisory, lead, or operational experience in safety, security, parking operations, hospitality, facilities, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, exercise good judgment, and maintain professionalism in both routine and high-pressure situations.
  • Experience enforcing policies, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency response activities.
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security, safety, parking, and incident management systems.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and move throughout Club facilities, including parking structures, athletic areas, event spaces, and member-facing environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via radio, phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service while promoting a culture of safety, security, and operational excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Current First Aid, CPR, AED, and DPSST certifications preferred, or the ability to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily security operations by coordinating with the Club's contracted security vendor and serving as a primary operational resource for routine questions, concerns, and communication.
  • Monitor vendor performance and help ensure security expectations, patrol standards, communication protocols, and service requirements are consistently met.
  • Assist with incident response, emergency procedures, investigations, documentation, follow-up activities, and communication with Club leadership.
  • Identify and communicate security concerns, service gaps, or operational issues to the Safety & Security Manager.
  • Provide operational support to the Manager on Duty, security personnel, Club Operations, and other departments as needed.
  • Coordinate access requests, contractor activity, and vendor compliance with Club policies and safety expectations.
  • Support approved camera reviews, access-related investigations, and follow-up actions related to security concerns.
  • Assist with daily safety operations, including hazard identification, corrective actions, inspections, emergency equipment checks, and safety-related systems.
  • Participate in medical and emergency response activities within the scope of training and certification.
  • Support employee safety training, emergency drills, documentation, procedural updates, and department communications.
  • Assist with workplace injury follow-up and workers' compensation administration as directed.
  • Oversee daily parking operations, including parking systems, pay-to-park functions, equipment, facilities, revenue collection, and member service needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parking inquiries, complaints, citations, access concerns, event parking, and operational issues.
  • Monitor parking areas for safety, traffic flow, lighting concerns, hazards, and maintenance needs.
  • Support parking enforcement, event setup, staffing coordination, citation processing, and communication with internal departments.
  • Act as a backup operational contact for routine safety, security, and parking matters when the Safety & Security Manager is unavailable.
  • Support department projects, special events, emergency situations, operational changes, and other duties as assigned.
