About The Position

The SAE Supervisor, Security Events maintains shift records, reports, and passes and ensures security officers are properly trained for their designated field positions. The supervisor ensures officers meet company standards and takes corrective action as needed. The role supports the safety of Universal Orlando guests and Team Members, oversees screening, helps protect company assets, and carries out administrative and security-related responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• 1–3 years of knowledge of park policies and procedures and Security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass a background check meeting Universal Orlando’s background check criteria.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of guests and Team Members.
• Oversee guest and Team Member screening and protect company assets from theft and other criminal activities.
• Review Incident Reports and ensure they are thorough and concise for possible future litigation.
• Make appropriate notifications to upper management.
• Review Blotter entries.
• Maintain shift records, reports, and passes.
• Ensure security officers are properly trained in all aspects of their designated field positions.
• Ensure officers maintain company standards and take corrective action as needed.
• Perform administrative duties, including performance counselings, performance evaluations, and Kronos scheduling, time, and attendance monitoring.
• Train Team Members.
• Maintain and enforce company standards and policies related to security matters.
• Follow established UO Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
