This role is a year-long grant funded position, expected to last 12 months with full-time 40-hour weeks. At Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, we are dedicated to fostering equity and inclusion. Our organization thrives when every member of the community we serve is included in the conversations, helping us ensure that all our neighbors have sufficient access to food. We invite candidates from all backgrounds, including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, and abilities, to join our team. The job summary is to support the Food Bank's sourcing strategies by conducting outreach to prospective food donors and vendors in rural parts of our service area. Use your communication skills and knowledge of regional food systems to find new sources of food for our Neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Help establish relationships with local food producers and link them to partners fighting hunger in their own communities. This is a temporary, grant-funded position projected to last one year.
