About The Position

This position initiates, maintains and develops relationships between the business and community hospices and other senior care organizations. This position serves as an ambassador for the organization, often speaking publicly to deliver the company’s vision and enhance awareness of company products and services within the local community.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • High degree of overall computer proficiency.
  • High degree of proficiency in local and virtual data management tools (Internet, Dropbox, Microsoft file management structure).
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective and professional communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal skills and the ability to resolve and respond to issues in a professional manner.
  • Ability to empathize with client families and their guests and demonstrate tact and patience in emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and working environment through organization, willingness to learn, and communication.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and exercise good judgment.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • At least 1-year experience or background in hospice, nursing or senior care preferred.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains relationships with members of the community, key individuals and other organizations.
  • Makes regular in-person, email, and phone contacts with hospice and senior care staff to elevate awareness and provide information about company products and services.
  • Plans and host events and programs on topics of interest to senior health care and hospice providers highlighting services and resources the company provides.
  • Organizes community outreach programs and coordinates special events that promote products, services and ideas of the company.
  • Serves as key point of contact for neighboring businesses, hospices, senior care facilities including responding to inquiries from interested parties.
  • Attends and engages in local networking events.
  • Seeks out opportunities for brand growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.
