About The Position

The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for providing direct assistance to procurement team members. The core responsibilities include entering contracts into the Contract Management System, assisting buyers with general procurement tasks, participating in and responding to internal audit requests and related procedures, organizing meetings and booking rooms, retrieving quotes and agreements, providing administrative support for RFP/RFI’s, modifying contracts as instructed, and other duties as assigned. The position involves routine contact with Strategic Sourcing team members but may have some interaction with University Stakeholders and Suppliers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years in general office administration or administrative support experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Aptitude for learning to utilize software tools
  • Organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Entering contracts into the Contract Management System (Unimarket).
  • Assisting buyers with general procurement tasks.
  • Participating in and responding to internal audit requests and related procedures.
  • Organizing meetings and booking rooms.
  • Retrieving quotes and agreements.
  • Providing administrative support for RFP/RFI’s.
  • Modifying contracts as instructed.
  • Directing the workflow approval of contracts, expediting approvals, preparing weekly status reports.
  • Processing Amazon orders.
  • Making corporate card purchases.
  • Stakeholder management and engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
