About The Position

Landmark Snacks LLC is hiring a part-time team member for its Ready-To-Eat (RTE) packaging area in Beatrice, Nebraska. The role involves directly handling cooked meat snacks and preparing them in their final packages. Team members inspect products for quality, operate or work with production equipment, package items into boxes, and move materials or finished goods with a pallet jack. The position requires standing on hard surfaces for 10 hours and working in production environments that may be cold or loud. Earplugs are required in the production area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish.
• Ability to be at work regularly and on time.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for 10 hours.
• Sufficient written communication and reading skills.
• Ability to operate equipment or learn to operate it quickly.
• Good time-management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to assess products for quality compliance.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position during the shift while performing repetitive motions.
• Ability to occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds across the plant.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine products to verify that they conform to quality standards.
• Load and unload items from machines or conveyors.
• Perform packaging work requiring hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and stamina.
• Place individual packages into boxes for final packaging.
• Use and move finished goods and materials with a pallet jack for further production, packing, or processing.
• Follow client specifications and ensure good-quality work.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change.
